As Nehemiah 2:18 says, you can have God's gracious hands on your life to live your daily life in grace. And to make sure to have His gracious hands on you, let's walk through this blog post together and save ourselves in His grace.

1. SEEK HIS KINGDOM FIRST AND GOD'S FAVOUR IS ON YOUR WAY
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well - Matthew 6:33
This is may be one of the most excessively heard and used verses from the Bible. In Matthew 6:33, he reveals to us the most easiest yet the hardest way to seek his grace. I said easiest because by doing just two things you become the receiver of his unending and unconditional grace from up above that could guide you throughout your life. But, Why is it the hardest to do ?
As proud Christians, we are all merely satisfied with our religious existence and we never aspire to grow more than that. We remain content with our church going life and never allow ourselves to go beyond that realm. This is were we are stunting our own spiritual growth from becoming something more. Spirituality is more than just going to church on Sundays. It is more than just the ritual reading of Bible everyday or for some occasionally. It is undoubtedly more than our labels as Christians. It is far more than what we think we are capable of.
Seeking His Kingdom does not necessarily mean changing your whole life and your existence entirely, rather it 'simply' means to incorporate God and his words into our daily lives. This requires a shift in our perspective and routines. It is more like acknowledging His presence in each and every aspect of our life. In simpler words, making God our lord our best friend. Making him somebody we look up to every single moment instead of casting him away as a Sunday person. If we are ready to seek Him more diligently and sincerely, His gracious hands are going to be with us forever and it is going to be enough and more for us to live our life in this world.
2. DROP YOUR WORRIES BECAUSE HE IS YOUR SHEILD
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:6-7
As people making our ways through a global pandemic, we don't need anybody to tell us the meaning of anxiety or depression. I don't know if anybody reading this has already begun judging themselves for not seeing the sign board of a breakthrough or a new job or some kind of a change. Let me tell you this, even though it may sound a little bit pessimistic at the surface level. There's not much we can do at the moment to row our boats against this situation, but we know somebody who can do because pandemic does not apply to him.
We often fall deep down into the dark pits of depression and anxiety as a result of our constant struggle to control everything in our lives, even when we're well aware of our inability to do so. We cry, weep and aimlessly battle against things that are clearly out of our control. The only help we are doing ourselves is making our lives even more miserable by being hard on ourselves. I think it's time to consider dropping the need to control everything in our lives. It's time to stop worrying about things we cannot control and let God our Lord take control of our lives. He knows what better works for us for he is our shield in troubles and trials.
Through Philippians 4:6-7, God our father tells us to drop our worries and wants us to be grateful for what we have in our lives. Instead of living a life in anxiety, he is calling us to turn to him with our prayers, petitions and requests so that he can guard our wounded soul with his peace that transcends all worldly understanding.
3. WHEN IN DOUBT, READ BIBLE
We often find ourselves in doubt where we feel like we are zoning out not knowing what to do. We have moments were we have no idea of what is being expected from us, studying more? working more? or just quitting and stop caring about things. Many of us are familiar with such black out moments where we just feel like running away to some unknown place where nothing is expected from us. I can bet when I tell this to you, that unknown place is Bible. You might be wondering now about the credibility of this bet, but if you are ready to give it a go, you are going to see miracles. The best hiding place when in uncertainty is undoubtedly Bible. Just take a random chapter and read. Do not think or analyze much, just take comfort in the verses you see. I can tell you God is capable of rewarding you for your sincerity and commitment. He can make your regrets your best gifts and inabilities, your best skills.
May God fill you with His peace.
